Digimatism: Abstract Geometric Tattoos Inspired by Digital Technology

Stanislaw Wilczynski (aka Digimatism) is a tattoo artist and painter based in Moscow. He paints abstract geometry on the skin but also on digital and traditional canvases. His artwork is inspired by the Suprematism, an art movement focused on basic geometric forms painted in a limited range of colors.

Through his art, he introduces his own contemporary brand entitled ”Digimatism” which is an interesting contemporary approach in the body art. According to Stanislaw, ”Digimatism”- which is composed of the words digital and suprematism- ”is a term to describe pure, non-evocative, abstract shapes created by means of digital technologies.”

It is ”a fusion of Russian suprematism, German minimalism, and futuristic Japanese ambiance. A visual language of the future.”

Stanislaw’s minimalist designs mostly consist of thick and distinctive lines, circles and other geometric shapes often resembling architectural compositions.

We’ve selected below 20 of his abstract geometric tattoos, but make sure to check his Instagram for more.
